El Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico, Terror y Ciencia Ficción FERATUM ha hecho públicas sus convocatorias para los cineastas que quieran ser parte de la séptima edición que se llevará a cabo en septiembre de 2018 en Tlalpujahua, Michoacán. La convocatoria está abierta para participar en las categorías de: Cortometraje Nacional e Internacional; Largometraje Nacional e Internacional y Guión para Cortometraje de Ficción.
En el caso de las competencias de Cortometraje y Largometraje podrán participar en las diferentes secciones según lo decida el comité seleccionador: Alucarda (mexicanos), Sección Internacional, Sección Iberoamericana o Muestra. Además se entregarán a los ganadores las diversas preseas que otorga el festival: Nosfertatu de bronce; Torre Feratum; Alucarda.
Las cintas que se inscriban deberán ser producidas entre los años 2017 y 2018, deberán ser inscritas por directores, productores o distribuidores y podrán inscribir tantos trabajos deseen. Cabe aclarar que las inscripciones para los trabajos mexicanos serán gratuitas.
Por su parte la convocatoria de Guión de Cortometraje de Ficción tendrá este año la temática de Mitos y Leyendas Mexicanos. Puede ser propuestas en los géneros fantásticos, que incluyen: terror, fantasía, ciencia ficción, gore, thriller, suspenso, humor negro. Y tendrá como premio el apoyo para filmar la obra y los demás guiones seleccionados tendrán la oportunidad de recibir asesorías de especialistas.
La convocatoria para entrar a las competencias de Cortometraje y Largometraje estará vigente hasta el 30 de junio. Por su parte la convocatoria para participar en Guión de Cortometraje de Ficción cerrará el 1º de agosto.
Además de las convocatorias es necesario recordar que el FERATUM FILM FESTIVAL apoya también la formación académica y en esta ocasión lo fomentará a través de cursos, talleres, conferencias y seminarios que se irán anunciando conforme la fecha de realización se acerque.
